We have over 120 designs of cushion panels available to buy on our web site. The cushion panels measure approximately 112cm wide by 45cm deep. The cushion panels are 100% cotton and are machine washable and are available to buy in pairs.

Cushion panels are available in a variety of designs ranging from floral designs to wildlife designs. The cushion panels can be used for a variety of projects including quilted cushions and quilt making.

Instructions On How To Make Your Own Cushions Using Our Cushion Panels

Cushion Panels

Fibre Bond Wadding

Two Pieces Of Coloured Poly Cotton Fabric

One Piece Of Plain Fabric For Backing

 

Instructions

 

Place the cushion panels face down and lay the wadding and then the plain backing fabric down on top of the cushion panels. Secure the four corners with pins.

 

Turn the cushion panels over and proceed to sew around different features of the cushion panels. This can be done by hand or by using a sewing machine. Experience has shown that working from the centre of the print outwards produces the best results.

 

When this has been completed, hem one long side of each of the pieces of coloured fabric. Lay the cushion panels face up and place the larger piece of coloured fabric so that it is covering the bottom two thirds of the cushion panels, with the hem at the top. Sew this on to the outside edge of the cushion panels. Place the smaller piece of fabric so that it is covering the top half ensuring there is an overlap of at least 3” over the first piece of coloured fabric. Once again, sew this in place (Note: It may be advisable to carry out this first with pins or temporary stitching, to ensure the procedure has been followed correctly).

 

Turn the print inside out and pull out at the corners. Your cushion cover is now complete.
